The Endless Mission One and Mission Mini desktop computers will be available for pre-order in the US starting January 16th.

They’re both small, fanless desktop computers that ship with Endless OS, a Linux-based operating system that’s designed to be easy to use, and which comes with tools to help kids (or adults) learn to write code.

I got a chance to catch up with Endless CEO Matt Dalio on the even of the Consumer Electronics Show, and he explained some of the thinking behind these tiny PCs and the software they run.

Lenovo is updating its Miix line of 2-in-1 Windows tablets this year, with a new model sporting a 12 inch, 2880 x 1920 pixel display, an Intel Kaby Lake processor, and pen and finger support.

It’s called the Miix 720, and it’s coming in April for $1000 and up. But Lenovo is showing off it off a bit early at the Consumer Electronics Show.

The tablet comes with a detachable keyboard that’s more than a bit reminiscent of the Type Cover that’s available for Microsoft Surface tablets.

The new model looks a lot like its predecessor, but NVIDIA says it “offers 3x the performance of any other streamer” and supports 4K HDR casting with NVIDIA GameStream as well as 4K video content from Netflix and Amazon.

NVIDIA’s new Shield TV will also support Google Assistant, allowing you to use the same voice service to that’s available on the Google Home smart speaker and Google Pixel phones.
