Over the past few years we’ve seen a lot of low-cost, low-sized notebooks. But Lenovo’s ThinkPad 11e models stood out a bit, since they had better specs than their peers.
Right now Woot is offering two ThinkPad 11e models for great prices. A $170 model features a Celeron N2940 processor, 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Or for $30 more you can get a convertible tablet-style model.
Two things to keep in mind though: these are using Intel Bay Trail processors which are a few years old, and the sale prices are for laptops that are “open box,” which means there may be some missing items or damaged packaging.

Panasonic’s Let’s Note line of laptops are tiny, powerful, and sadly unavailable in the US or Europe. But if you happen to be in Japan, soon you’ll be able to pick up Panasonic’s new 10.1 inch, 12.1 inch, or 14 inch laptops powered by Intel Kaby Lake processors.
Most of the new notebooks will be available in Japan starting October 14th, although a special 20th anniversary Let’s Note laptop is also coming November 11th.
