NVIDIA’s latest graphics chips for laptops are designed to offer better performance, lower power consumption, and support for virtual reality, even on notebooks that weigh as little as 4 pounds.
For the first time, NVIDIA is also dropping the M (for mobile) from the names of its new cards. The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060, GTX 1070, and GTX 1080 solutions for laptops have the same names as the company’s desktop graphics cards.
The mobile versions will probably run a little slower in some situations, but if you’ve got a notebook designed to keep the graphics card from overheating, you should be able to get performance that’s pretty close to what you’d see from a desktop.

The developers of CyanogenMod have released a new stable build of their operating system for dozens of phones and tablets. CyanogenMod is an open source operating system based on Google Android. It can be installed on a wide range of phones, tablets, and other devices as a replacement for the operating system that came with your device.
CyanogenMod 13 ZNH5Y is based on Android 6.0.1, but it includes a number of enhancements to Google’s software.

Lenovo launched a new thin and light laptop called the Lenovo Air 13 Pro in China a few weeks ago. Now it looks like that laptop will probably be available in the US and other markets soon… under a different name.

Asus has been offering a line of affordable smartwatches powered by Google’s Android Wear operating system for the past few years. But it seems the upcoming Asus ZenWatch 3 will be a little different.
While the first two watches in the lineup had square(ish) displays, the new model will have a round watch face.
Asus hasn’t officially unveiled the ZenWatch 3 yet, but it showed up at websites for the US Federal Communications Commission and the Chinese National Communications Commission this week, so we have a pretty good idea of what the watch will look like.
