Google may not be releasing Android 7.0 for older Nexus phones and tablets, but that hasn’t stopped independent developers from doing it. Xda-developers forum member Santhosh M has released an early build of Android 7.0 Nougat for the Google Nexus 5, one of the phones Google is leaving behind.
I suspect this is just the first of many unofficial builds of Android N for hardware that doesn’t officially support the operating system. That’s what happens when you combine an open source operating system, devices with unlockable bootloaders, and a tech savvy community of users.

E Fun’s latest low-cost tablet is a 2-in-1 model with a detachable keyboard, an Intel Atom x5-Z8300 Cherry Trail processor and Windows 10 software.
The E Fun Nextbook 10.1 is now available from Target for $180.
The tablet’s specs aren’t all that impressive, and it’s not unusual to find low-cost Windows tablets these days. But it’s nice to see that even cheap models from budget device makers like E Fun seem to offer at least a somewhat respectable set of features, given the low price tag.

PlayStation Now is a service that lets you stream PlayStation 3 games over the internet for $20 per month (or less if you sign up for a longer period).

As AFTV News notes, a new tablet showed up at the FCC website this week, and while the documentation doesn’t use the words “Amazon,” or “Fire,” the listing has all the hallmarks of an unannounced Amazon device… complete with the use of a shell company to make it a little harder for people to find.

Samsung’s third smartphone to ship with the Tizen operating system is somewhat oddly called the Samsung Z2. It follows the Z1 and Z3. Go figure.
The new phone is launching in India, where it sells for INR 4,590 (about $68), and it’s the first Tizen smartphone to ship with support for 4ZG networks.
As you may have guessed from the price, the phone isn’t exactly a powerhouse. It features a 4 inch, WVGA display, a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage, a 5MP rear camera, a VGA front camera, and a 1,500 mAh battery.
