But now you can buy one if you want. Microsoft started shipping $3,000 HoloLens development kits earlier this year, but at the time they were only available to developers who filled out an application before paying for the hardware.

The phone is available for pre-order from Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint… but priced at around $850, the phone isn’t exactly cheap.
Fortunately, some wireless carriers and retailers are offering some big promotions.
